Job Descriptions and Requirements
Movers
Movers carry and place furniture in the truck and home professionally. They work efficiently under the supervision of a crew leader.
Requirements:
- If not a US citizen, must have proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Must have dependable transportation to work.
- Must be at least 18 years of age or 17 with a work permit.
- Must be able to lift and carry household furniture and office equipment throughout a work shift. Single carry of 5 lbs. to a double carry of 200 lbs.
- Must have sufficient knowledge of English to communicate with English speaking customers and co-workers. Bilingual applicants preferred.
Drivers
Performs all facets of a local or long distance moving job, as well as drive a truck. Acts as the liaison between the company and the customer.
As a company representative:
- Promote a culture that ensures the company makes a fair profit for the good of all
- Trains and supervise crew members as well as promote a team approach
- Ensures safety guidelines are followed to protect the company assets which are its people and equipment
As a customer advocate:
- Depended on to keep promises kept by the company
- Ensures the crew protects the furniture and home
- Listens to the customer’s desires and concerns
- Provides a good value for the cost of the move
Requirements:
- If not a US citizen, must have proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.

- Possess valid driver’s license with a current copy of driving record on file.
- Three years' experience driving a 24 foot truck and age 24 or over.
- Must have sufficient knowledge of English to communicate with English speaking customers and co-workers. Bilingual applicants preferred.
- Ready to under go training at Beltway to perform correct techniques for moving, completing company paperwork, and managing a team.
