If you’re moving a long distance and aren’t sure how to transport multiple cars to your new location or you’re moving a hot tub to your new home, we can help you find a reputable service provider. Most traditional moving companies do not move larger items (i.e. cars and hot tubs), so we have reputable companies that we can refer you to.
  2. We have boxes! Our movers keep boxes on the truck. That way, if you run out or have a few items to pack up the morning of your move, we have you covered. We like to say that we’re able to roll with the punches.
  3. Questions? Most people are not liability coverage experts but our consultants are. Not sure how many boxes you’ll need per room? We can answer these questions and more!
  4. Logistics are second nature to us. Delayed settlements, extra pickups, unusual pieces of furniture or equipment to move and storage options are just a few of the concerns that are second nature to us. Some moves are not just an easy A to B. We’re here to help guide you through all the details that come in between.
  5. We know DC! Moving isn’t as simple as loading a truck, driving it to your new home, and unloading it. There are estimates involved, apartment building logistics, and road issues. Our move consultants know which roads are closed to trucks at what times, they know which buildings have freight elevators and the times they’re available, and they know where trucks can be parked when moving. And, if they don’t know the answer, they will point you in the direction of who to ask. Knowing these things will save you money – we charge by the hour and knowing which route to take and what time a freight elevator is available for use allows us to properly estimate the move cost and figure out the best time for your move.

I would like to inform that both move days went extremely well. There was a lot to do in extreme heat and elevators to navigate. The leads on both day D. Anderson and Kenneth were extremely professional and listened to and addressed my concerns. The teams were also very responsive and wonderful to work with. I've moved over 20 times with the military and this is the first team who left each residence and access points as they found them. After a few bad experiences with movers in the past, I did some research and came across the great reviews written about Beltway Movers. I decided to hire their crew and I can confirm that they are absolute professionals! The crew that helped me was Brian, JR, and Kareem. They arrived right on time, had a positive attitude, introduced themselves, and went right to work. They were masterful at protecting all of my furniture, yet managing to fit everything with room to spare. Moving can be stressful. Fantastic moving company!!! One of the best I have ever worked with. We had an office move in early January this year and I worked with Bill Barrett from their back office to set up the week of our move with multiple days of the move, and he was fantastic and very organized and responsive. The movers on the 4 days of our move were all fantastic as well -- super professional, so hard-working, positive, efficient and communicative. We just had the best experience, everything was prompt and on time, just everything went perfectly smoothly. Would 100% hire them again -- wish we were moving again sooner so we could.
